Press Feeder OpportunityWe're hiring! Our Van Nuys, California printing plant is looking for a Press Feeder to join our team. If you're motivated and ready to grow with a company in the print industry, this could be the job for you.Pay Range:2nd Shift Pay Rate: $19.00 – $26.00/hourActual compensation within the range will depend on a variety of factors including the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws. Shift:2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday – FridayDuties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare the plates by punching holes on front and placing them inside the designated color.Assists Press Operator in removing and replace worn rollers and adjust pressure between rollers of press, using hand tools.Load skid of unprinted sheets of paper on feed device of sheet-fed press, using the pallet jack.Inspect materials and products for defects, and to ensure it meets job specifications.Push dual control buttons and move controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment.Load printed side of the job to the flipping machine and prepare to load on the press machine.Identify and mark materials, products, and samples, following instructions.Remove materials and products from machines and equipment, and place them for staging position for bindery department.Record production and operational data, such as amount of materials processed.Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately.Ensure all equipment, tools, and work station are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards.Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.Must be proactive with completing other duties as assignedQualificationAttention to detail.Ability to read, write, speak & understand English.Ability to communicate effectively with Press Operator.Ability to use hand/power tools and safe use of them.Ability to multi task with changing priorities.Ability to recognize safety issues & corrective actions.For further information on the Digital Room, please explore our website What are the perks and benefits of working at Digital Room?Collaborate with leading print professionals in a fast-paced, high-tech, safe, and enjoyable environmentCompetitive pay and growth opportunities.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage (location-specific).Employer match 401(k) up to limits.Company-sponsored Life and AD&D Insurance.Flexible Spending Account and voluntary benefits.Paid holidays and PTO.Employee discounts on all products.Company-sponsored training and certifications.Fun workplace and wellness events, and more.Please note: Actual compensation within the range will depend on various factors including the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
